Another method of auto focusing is to set a variable curvature mirror (or adjustable mirror) before the beam enters the focusing mirror. By changing the curvature of the mirror, the divergence angle of the reflected beam and the focus position are changed. With the auto focus function, the machine can automatically adjust the focus to the right position by numerical control when processing workpieces of different materials and thicknesses.The high-speed cutting time of the machine tool can also be greatly reduced.
